District Sales Manager position covering the greater Seattle WA, Tacoma WA, Spokane WA, & Portland OR areas serviced by Bay Insulation of Washington Inc.
Summary: The District Sales Manager for Bay Insulation Systems travels throughout the geographic area of Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Western Montana. This position is responsible for identifying, closing, and retaining customers while consistently prospecting new customers and building long term relationships. Collaborating directly with contractors, insulation companies, metal & post frame building manufacturers, and other specifiers of Metal Building Insulation. In addition, the District Sales Manager will also be representing EXPI-DOOR Systems Inc., our specialized metal walk door manufacturer.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares and presents quotes.
- Timely follow up on all sales leads
- Acquires customer orders.
- Handles customer questions, complaints, and needs.
- Promotes Bay Insulation Systems and products throughout the district.
- Ensure all customers have current pricing and are aware of changing market conditions.
- Develop prospective customers and build strong relationships.
- Creating and maintaining a database of accounts.
- Manages expense reports and territory travel plan on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Make in person sales calls on commercial customers via office and jobsite visits.
- Ability to travel overnight as needed.
- Ability to work remote, and office from home.
- No direct reports
Qualifications:
- 5 or more years of sales experience, required.
- 5 or more years of construction related sales experience, required.
- Metal Building construction knowledge and experience, preferred.
- A college degree, preferred.
