The Customer Service Representative supports customers along with the plant manager and district sales managers to assure the highest level of customer satisfaction. Contacts accounts on regular basis that have been assigned to them by the district managers. Builds relationships with assigned customers in order to increase sales. Provides quotes by working closely with the district mangers to establish pricing. Follows up with customers on shipped orders. They are responsible for the data entry of orders and shipments into the computer system. Is responsible for coordination of files, by keeping them orderly and up-to-date. Answers incoming phone calls in a pleasant manner and takes messages for the plant managers and others as needed. Coordinates order activity with customers and tracks orders to ensure timely deliveries and to provide proof of deliveries.  Also coordinates the sending and receiving of mail and freight packages.       

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Utilizing Axapta software for printing paperwork, labels, picking tickets, and sales receipts

  • Enters data and imports orders into the computer system.

  • Generates BOL’s using Rate Linx and contacts carriers to schedule pickups.

  • Customer communication link from order entry through shipment and job completion. Example: Confirm order status with customers. When required/requested provide proof of deliveries to the customers. 

  • Work with XQ (quoting Software) to generate quotes, orders and cut list for accounts

  • Makes follow up calls for shipped orders.

  • Supports customers and district managers sales effort as needed to strengthen relationships with customers and their DM’s

  • Makes follow up calls for shipped orders.

  • Provide communication, quoting, and order support to Contact accounts assigned to them by district managers on a regular basis

  • Resolves and coordinates billing and job disputes with customers and corporate

  • Routes various paperwork from plant to the appropriate department in corporate.

  • Answers incoming phones calls and routes to the appropriate people. 

  • Orders and organizes office supplies and files as needed.

  • Promote and follow all company safety procedures.

  • Will be required to perform all other duties as requested, directed or assigned

     

    Education and Experience:

  • One year of sales experience is desired but will train.

  • Bilingual is a plus.

  • Requires proficiency with measurement calculations including square foot and percentages

  • Experience working with Word, Excel and Outlook.

  • Typing skills, 40WPM.
