The Customer Service Representative will answer customer calls, enter sales and purchase orders,
coordinate warehouse and direct shipment deliveries, and contact customers and vendors as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Resolve different types of customer service inquiries concerning order placement, product pricing, availability, delivery, order status, and technical questions.
- Enter quotes, sales orders, bids and vendor purchase orders in accounting system.
- Assist in the maintaining of Product Data and SDS database of .pdf files.
- Coordinating warehouse deliveries with warehouse managers and drivers.
- Setting up outside delivery shipping - LTL truck shipments, Fed-Ex, UPS, etc.
- Support the company vision & mission.
- Maintain professional relationships with all Customers.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of work experience within a customer service or office position, required.
- Knowledge in the General Building Supply and/or Concrete & Masonry product distribution, preferred.
- Attention to detail in regard to editing text and recording numbers.
- Exceptional communication/organizational skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook, preferred.
